A Favourite:App

Today I wanted to talk about an app that I LOVE and that has become very popular over the past year or two. Pinterest. I came across the app when it was mentioned in a’Whats on my iPhone’  video and I have been obsessed with it ever since. There is certainly something on there for everyone be it food,home decor,tattoos,gardening you name it and Pinterest has got it! I am gonna run through some of the reasons that I love it!

• Its free- always an advantage when looking for your next favourite app perfect for If it doesn’t work out between you two!
• I always say that It’s great for when I’m bored but its funny because I never actually feel bored because I just jump onto Pinterest so I don’t actually hit boredom I am just looking for something to do you could say.
• I think Pinterest is most popular for the Wedding side of the app because there is so much inspiration on there and it’s almost like the app lights a fire inside you and you just feel this wave of ideas come over you and your brain is going 500 mph! My sisters friend was actually getting married last summer and she said that she got so many ideas just from using Pinterest that she had actually never seen before!
• My favourite thing about the app is the infinite amount of recipes on there! It’s great to pop on there if you want to make a snack and you are in the mood for chicken you just hit search and everything you could ever think of adding chicken to is right there its amazing. I am a bakeaholic so if I am ever in the mood to try something new I just head onto Pinterest and I have a bazillions different ideas in front of me (even though I always end up making brownies but that’s never a bad thing!0
• Pinterest kills me sometimes though. I am so stuffed with Wanderlust I sometimes have to exit the app because I can’t manage to look at all of those beautiful coasts and mountains that I am jealous of people who have the freedom to see all of those amazing places whenever they want! My board that is the fullest is my Wanderlust bored and it is also more than likely my favourite!
• I find that Pinterest is much better than searching google images. For my Debs/Prom I actually only used Pinterest to find the makeup and hair looks that I wanted. By using Pinterest I could again just search Debs Hair and it gives me a lot more tags to add onto my search to narrow it down and eventually you will have narrowed it down to the look that you didn’t even know you were looking for!

My Christmas 2014!

Hey Guys! I know I have been totally MIA with the last month but I got so busy with school and Christmas that I bearly had time to sit back and think.All of that will change this year! Today I decided I would show you what gifts I recieved this Christmas. I am addicted to reading posts about what people got and I love watching the videos too!On Christmas Day I was lying in beck checking Youtube every 5 minutes to see if any videos had been uploaded

In my family we do Christmas a little differently compared to regular familys!Instead of buying gifts for everyone we do Kris Kringle (or Kris Krindle as we call it) instead. If you don’t know what Kris Krindle is because there are so many different terms used these days basically we all put our names in a hat pick one out and buy presents for the one person but we also keep it a secret until Christmas Day.Every single year we all try to guess who got who.I am usually on point!When it comes to our Momma and Poppa we all chip into there gifts and get them a big one each because the way we see it is instead of spending lots of money on small gifts that our parents don’t exactly want or need we all come together with different ideas on gifts or parent want and would obviously appreciate! We still get my dad socks every year.

This year it was my sister Jane who got me in Kris Krindle whom I also live with. This year she let it slip that she had got me and sadly I had to tell her some things I would have liked because she is very bad at buying gifts for people this she will admit also!Lets jump into the gifts!

The first thing I opened was a handbag I told her I would have loved. I wanted this one in particular because I wouldn’t buy myself a coral coloured bag for myself is because I would be afraid that I wouldn’t use it. I am obsessed with it.I love that it has a shape and sturdy not a loose material. I feel so classy when I wear it!

The next gift I opened were some books that I asked for. I am a bookworm no doubt about it,any cold wet day or if I am sick I will snuggle up with some chocolate a good book and a fluffy blanket #bliss.I am always haunting the internet and watching videos about books people are loving! The majority of the time I find them on We Heart It!

Another gift I got was this gorgeous playsuit from River Island which I am actually really excited to wear!This will be nice for every time of year I think you slap on some boots in the fall and tights in the winter its so perfect!  I  also love anything with pockets if you see me without my hands in my pockets something must be wrong!

Now I love walking! Getting out during these stressful weeks of exams is so fresh and I love it because it keeps me sane! I go with a friend and its such good motivation to get out when you have someone with you and its also nice to catch up too! She bought me a new long sleeve top which is AMAZING because it is super cold here so this keeps me cosy while sweating if that even makes sense lol!

She also got me these Bench shoes which I have worn too many times already! I love flat shoes I don’t so much like thick sole shoes.I like them because you can keep them loose without them looking silly and flopping off your feet every step you take!

Then my momma got me this scarf which I actually picked out myself. This scarf is actually big enough to be a blanket and it came in so so handy as I actually got quite sick just after Christmas and this scarf didn’t come off my neck. There was actually a couple of nights where it came into bed with me #obsessed

My dear momma then surprised me with this light up make up mirror. I had been eyeing one of these up for so long but I couldn’t bring myself to buy one because they are too over priced for a mirror whit some bulbs attached. My momma knows me best and she got me this one by Revlon(I didn’t even know they made Mirrors!)

I then bought myself a few little goodies which included 6 new lip balms LOL Dallas Buyers Club and The Mortel Instruments DVD’s and this Nivea primer which I actually thought was a moisturiser!

So they are all the gifts that I received this Christmas. I know some of you may think ugh I got way better gifts than that but buying gifts in our family isn’t that much of a big deal.We are a family that fusses over the desserts and who gets to pick out the movie we watch.Basically for us,Christmas is about family!
